Tucked away between Lewis Road and Upper Lewis Road, the Park Crescent isn’t one of those pubs which gets loads of non-locals, that’s not to say that non-locals aren’t welcome.
If you’re shopping in the open market, playing with a Frisbee on the Level or just in the area - why not stop in to the Druids for a refreshing drink.
The Rose Hill Tavern is located a short distance from Preston Circus and is looks about as traditional as a British pub gets. . .
What with the credit crunch starting to pinch, house prices falling faster than a chav on West street at midnight and food going up like a balloon we all could do with some cheering up. And let’s face it nothing helps quite like a pint of beer - The only way to improve on it is a cheap pint of the falling down water!

After our disappointing visit to The Railway, we decided that we needed sustenance and someone suggested The Open House, which is just over the railway bridge a mere three minute walk away.
This pub is right opposite London road station, handy If you happen to arrive in Brighton via that route - Stepping inside reveals a large pub with the traditional saloon/public bar layout, the decor can be considered traditional pub too.

Situated Halfway down Middle street, the Hop Poles has built up a reputation for providing great food and a great place to drink.
There are a number of good boozers on Trafalgar Street, the George, the Prince Albert. Between them you’ll find this pub - Let’s have a look to see if the Lord Nelson Inn is worth a visit. . .
Do you like beer? No not that generic Euro fizz, I’m talking about real ale! If you do, this is the pub for you.
