Sunday, July 30th, 2006

This is one of the campest pubs in Brighton (and that’s saying something!) Tucked away down a little passage (oooeer missus) that runs betwixt Russell square. and Regency square, this pub is not on the well walked path of many-a-day-tripper. The Regency can get busy on a Friday night, you’ll find a good mix of [...]

At the junction of Powis road and Clifton hill the crescent provides a welcome respite from the walk to seven dials. Step inside and you are greeted by a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. I must confess that the crescent was one of my favourite pubs, I say was because a little while ago [...]

Thursday, July 27th, 2006

Located on Montpelier terrace Upper North Street, which is just far enough away from the main ‘day-tripper’ areas, to ensure a nice regular clientèle. The Hampton has a nice atmosphere and has a happy hour Sunday to Thursday; Red stripe being served at a reasonable (relatively speaking) £2.05 from 6pm ’til 8pm.
