The Prince Arthur - Dean Street - Brighton

10 meters from Western road - but a world away!
The Prince Arthur, not to be confused with the Prince Albert (The person, piercing or pub) is a great little boozer! Why? I’m not sure that I can sum it up in words, its just a nice little pub to have a few beers in.
The ‘Albert is not pretentious or poncey - You can stroll in and sit down with your pint with ease, the staff are friendly and the service is good.
Inside, the Prince Arthur is quite small and very red, with a small conservatory type-thing at the back.

Beer
was a wallet battering £3.20/pint for Kronenbourg. This makes for an expensive night out, if you stay for more than a couple of pints.
Music was playing, mainly cheesy 80’s stuff, but at a low enough level not to be annoying.
Toilets
Another example of how it should be done, clean with everything working (unlike your reviewer).
Overall this is another great little pub, but I find it hard to recommend as its right at the top of the spectrum, price wise.

Nice little pub, really friendly service and made to feel right at home. I love the selection of comfortable seats, both low and high!! the tall table and the music! Thanks for a lovely evening…!

Best pub around, barman are so friendly and fantastic food, prices are really good too. £3.50 for a huge BLT with chips and salad fantastic. Small yes but full of life, John and Phil the owners bring a very walk welcome to this pub.
