The Royal Sovereign - Preston Street, Brighton

Here’s another pub on the ’street of a thousand restaurants’ A.K.A Preston street.

The Royal Sovereign - Preston Street, Brighton

Inside
You’ll find a well turned out watering hole of generous proportions, with a small outdoor area at the back of the pub.

Service was quick and friendly, a pint of stellar weighing-in at £3.10. The bar is divided in to two main areas; the hotel bar and the saloon lounge The hotel bar is a small ‘annex’ which contains another seating area with tables and chairs, which is just as well, because this is a pub which gets quite busy at popular times.

Generally this pub is frequented by a good mix of people, it’s not a ‘larger lout’ or ‘trendy’ bar, which Brighton, it seems, has more than its fair share of.

Wifi internet access is provided, as is a computer for the use of the patrons; handy if you’ve forgotten to bring your lappy.

Music is played and there are several large screen TV’s, on which sports are sometimes shown.

The lavs’ are clean and well stocked, so no worries on that score.

If you’re in the vicinity visit this is a pub!
