Have a little walk down Preston street and you’ll find this pub amongst the thousands of restaurants, which is ideal if you leave the pub a little hungry
Situated just up the road from the Robin Hood you’ll find the Duke of Norfolk. A fair sized establishment with a number of good points.
This is another little pub tucked out of the way, a hundred yards south of Western Road. Even so, this is a popular boozer, with a good amount of regulars propping-up the bar.
This is one of those pubs you’d only find if you were on a little bit of an exploration of the area, it’s a case of being hidden in plain view; being fifty metres away from the main road.
10 meters from Western road - but a world away!
The Prince Arthur, not to be confused with the Prince Albert (The person, piercing or pub) is a great little boozer! Why? I’m not sure that I can sum it up in words, its just a nice little pub to have a few beers in.

Best sausages Baird none!

If this pub is good enough for Shane MacGowan and Nick Cave to have a few pints whilst going Dutch on prawn cocktail* crisps, then it’s good enough for the rest of you ingrates!
Located on the corner of New England Road/Street, which isn’t the nicest place in Brighton, this pub looks pretty rough from the outside (a little like the Hobgoblin) but then at least it fits in with the surroundings. Thankfully this establishment is nothing like that urine soaked hell-hole. OK, that’s not really saying much I [...]
